Welcome to the Deep Cove Chalet, one of Canada's finest restaurants, and all around congenial spot. The Deep Cove Chalet is located forty minutes from Victoria on Vancouver Island, alongside Saanich Inlet on six glorious acres.

Not one to cater to trends, unconventional Chef Pierre Koffel shrugs, offhandedly understating his menu as "some French Cuisine classics, some not so classic..." when in fact, "not so classic" translates on the plate as fresh, convincing, original, and often inspired twists on the traditional. Local ingredients mean the freshest of everything. Breads, pâtés, desserts are made here. Salmon is smoked on the premises. A different fish is featured daily. And few can interpret salads and vegetable as can Pierre. Pierre's "proper" wine reserve—a world class collection dating from 1902 that includes several thousand bottles—covers virtually any palate.
